PROPHETIC WORD ESTABLISHES
“The Shepherd’s House”
February 5, 1992

This body of believers began in March of 1990 as The Love Church.

In February of 1992, through a prophetic word to the church, the Lord established a name change and we became The Shepherd’s House. The following is that prophetic word.

“The Lord established something tonight. I saw, as we were worshipping, the Lord came right behind this building. Right back over here and stood right here. (center of the platform behind the pulpit). He had a shepherd’s staff in His hand, and He took that staff and put it right there. (center of the platform). Just like somebody would come and stick it in the ground.

I saw behind him multitudes of sheep that fanned out behind Him. When He stuck that staff in the ground, all of a sudden He moved aside and all those sheep passed through the staff. It was like a gateway. They just came flooding through it. Jesus is The Gate and The Door. I saw it open and there were sheep behind Jesus. He said He would raise up shepherds after His own heart; gather His sheep that have been scattered and bring them to the place where He can be their Lord and their Shepherd.

The Lord has established a Shepherd’s Staff here at The Love Church. I believe tonight that the Lord Jesus Christ has put His staff in this place. I just saw angels, very excited, going to other angels and grabbing people that were hurt, wounded, and destroyed saying, “Bring them over here, this is The Shepherd’s House.” I just hear the Lord saying “No longer are you 'The Love Church', but 'The Shepherd’s House' …’O taste and see that the Lord is good.” I see the angels are as excited as they were at Jesus’ birth, in that little manger, when they went out and said come and behold.

It was as if the angels were looking for somewhere that they could say this is The Shepherd’s House. That does’t mean we are perfect, but it means that we have hearts that are turned toward God and Jesus can be the Shepherd, healing the broken hearted, bringing deliverance to the captives, setting at liberty those who are bruised; preaching the Gospel to the poor, and healing the blind, the maimed and lame.

In every function connected with this body The Shepherd’s House will be there, that same spirit, same anointing, the same staff, and this is just the first fruit. There will be many that follow. I’am going to go back to the Lord and begin to believe the things that He told me this morning. God is just looking for a people that will believe Him, walk in love, and have enough sense to say, "His mercy endures for ever".

Father we give you the Glory and the honor; Lord I thank you that this is Holy Ground tonight. Lord I thank you that tonight you have rooted up, broke down, and thrown out bondage, that you’ve rebuked the devourer and have established your people in Holiness and Righteousness, and that perfect law of liberty is flowing, and tonight I know that gifts have been released and impartation has taken place, hearing has gone forth and Lord we will never be the same. I believe tonight Lord, this has indeed become The Shepherd’s House, your place that belongs to you, no the only one, Dear Lord, we’re not foolish enough to let that seed rest here. We’re just one of many. Thank you Jesus.

The Song of The Shepherd’s House

I hear a voice from heaven calling,
Calling from the four winds
Children come,
Oh come,
Oh come into the Shepherd’s House.
Where there’s peace, there is rest
For my staff is planted there.

Come oh into the Shepherd’s House.
Where there’s peace, there is rest
For my staff is planted there.
Come oh wounded, bruised and broken,
Tired and weary children come
Oh come, Oh come, Oh come
Into the shepherd’s house.
Where His Love
Brings you rest
As you become the Shepherd’s house.

Lord you are my gentle shepherd
And I know that I shall never want
Lead me beside the waters still
Restore my soul, Restore my soul,
That I may become the Shepherd’s house.
